HAVEN Lockdown is a revolutionary new door lock for school classrooms. Lockdown sits at the top of your door and protects your classroom from an intruder trying to force their way inside.
Lockdown uses a patented wedge lock design and military grade components to protect your door from an intruder. Lockdown absorbs the force of the intruder and dissipates it through the lock, door, and frame. Lockdown is easy to use and tested to last over 25 years of daily use. A teacher can easily press the lock button on the unit, and the unlock mechanism can be used by even a toddler.

HAVEN Lockdown Solo has 4 main components:
- The bottom plate of the lock is made of stamped steel. It provides the core strength of the lock.
- The top portion of the lock is created out of Dupont industrial plastic and triple stitched nylon.
- The nylon is woven through the industrial plastic locking gate. This creates extreme resistance but also gives as the door is attacked. The plastic and nylon bend and kick back on the intruder's force.
- Finally, the mounting bracket is made out of steel to hold the lock in firmly in place.
